STRATIS Access Energy and Automation Platform for MultiFamily and Campus Communities Presenting to Region’s Oldest Angel Venture Conference.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — April 28, 2015 — STRATIS EMS, LLC creator of the award-winning STRATIS Access Energy and Automation Platform for MultiFamily and Campus Communities presents today at the 17th Annual Angel Venture Fair at the Union League in Philadelphia. Known as the oldest angel venture conference in the Mid-Atlantic Region, the Angel Venture Fair brings together its largest gathering of angel, seed and early stage investors. Typical attendance ranges from 300 to 400 attendees with more than half attending as investors.

The Angel Venture Fair, founded by the Private Investors Forum (PIF), is open to angel investors and other accredited investors, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, affiliated attorneys and accountants who are directly involved in early stage investment activities. According to PIF, more than $20 million has been raised for AVF companies since 2004. The selection presentation process is multi-faceted and rigorous. STRATIS is one of two-dozen non-university companies presenting out of over 100 applicants.

STRATIS was founded by Internet of Things (IoT) Innovator Ryan Buchert and Technology Strategist Felicite Moorman and launched in 2013. STRATIS is focused on creating an inexpensive, out-of-the-box IoT experience for mass installations, its largest to date being 65,000 devices on one site. “The Angel Venture Fair is an exceptional opportunity for STRATIS to share our groundbreaking solutions for the Internet of Things. Today the IoT is like that CD you got in the mail to access the Internet for $9.99 an hour. We’ve created the innovations to enable a ubiquitous IoT,” said Felicite Moorman, CEO of STRATIS. “We’re thrilled to have earned the chance to pitch at such a renowned event.”

STRATIS recently ended its National Technology Tour, presenting its Access Energy and Automation Platform to twenty-four MultiFamily and Campus Developers from Atlanta to Dallas and San Diego to San Francisco in March and April. An estimated 150 million square feet is currently contracted for installation in 2015. Strategic partners will be announced with panels and presentations in the coming months at the National Apartment Association’s Education Conference in June in Las Vegas and the National MultiHousing Council’s OpTech in November in San Diego.
