STRATIS IoT Scales Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies List, Moving Up 148 Spots
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -August 14, 2019- Inc. magazine ranked STRATIS IoT on the 2019 Inc 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. STRATIS ranked 740th in its second consecutive year, moving up 148 spots. Only one in four companies ever achieves multiple years on the Inc 5000.
In the past year, STRATIS has seen unprecedented growth with a 30% increase in units installed, currently totaling nearly 325,000 units in the U.S. and 18,000 internationally. With a new international expansion strategy, the company intends to meet intensifying global demand.
According to COO Sean Hawley, “STRATIS is targeting three times 2018 revenue with a commensurate increase in total units serviced. The current goal is to hit 500,000 units installed by the end of 2020.”
Crowning a year of unrivaled milestones, STRATIS also achieved SOC2 compliance in March, signifying its commitment to security and protection of user data. As the only SOC2 certified solution in the market, STRATIS plans to set and raise the IoT multifamily security standard again in 2019 with additional certifications for Trust Services Criteria, and compliance with CCPA and GDPR privacy regulations.

Methodology
The 2019 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2015 and 2018. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2015. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2018. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2015 is $100,000; the minimum for 2018 is $2 million.
