STRATIS IoT Wins Best Tech Startup and Best Tech Manager Timmy Awards
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -October 16th, 2019 - Tech in Motion, a community of over 100,000 technology professionals across 11 cities, selected STRATIS, leading IoT platform for Multifamily and Student Housing, as finalists for two awards: Best Tech Startup and Charlie Hill, Chief Innovation & Product Officer (CIPO), as Best Tech Manager. STRATIS and Charlie Hill were both announced Judges’ Choice winners in their categories.
The Timmy Awards recognize leaders in technology communities across North America in the categories of Best Tech Startup, Best Work Culture, Best Tech Manager, and Best Workplace for Diversity. Past finalists include pioneering companies Adobe, Casper, Venmo, LinkedIn, and Zocdoc.
The Best Tech Manager Award recognizes a manager who empowers their team and leads them to build an excellent product. The Best Tech Startup Award celebrates a company that employs forward-thinking tech leaders within a stellar work environment and builds an innovative product.
Charlie Hill acknowledged the STRATIS Team when announced stating, ”Give them anything, step away, and it’s done. I don’t have to think about it. These are the people that I work with, that I rely on, that drive the tech to be what it is. It’s real, it’s tangible, it’s scalable, it’s impactful.” He offered this advice, “...create capabilities that matter, create those that are impactful, those that change people’s lives.”

The 4th Annual Timmy Awards hosted tech leaders and professionals from across the Greater Philadelphia region on Tuesday, October 15th at the Science History Institute.
